Just got back from my travels yesterday and was called in to assist Lana a great camera person to help her shoot a documentary video interview.
It was great work and super fun.
Hope to work with her a lot more.

The Bay...
August 26th

As we prepare to land at Bhubneshwar ( the Lizard town as duly informed by my cousin, a city where lizards just fall like the rain from the sky ), i cant help but look back at the past couple of weeks.
Traversing the length and breadth of this vast insurmountable country i am kinda feeling sad that this will be over in a few days. Adi, PG, PR and i have been like this dysfunctional family catching and on most occasions almost managing to miss those early morning flights.
Its been bloody brilliant
More-so i even managed to go to Pune, its been 7 long years since i went back there.
Law School hasnt changed a wee bit since the days, time  as it stands  stood still and refuses to budge. I was even delighted when almost everyone back there recognized me, the professors, the parking attendants, the library staff and the folks at the canteen. Its been great,
Soon we shall be landing a shoot at Konark and then another shoot tomorrow and life shall return to normal.

Strange times these, I am not a Gandhian and I can never be one, non- violence aint my forte, and Gandhi, O well Gandhi aint my best bud, given a chance ill dish him at every given opportunity, much to the displeasure of an entire nation.
As for corruption, I stand against it, I stand against this government, and its overtly preposterous regime, laced with malice, corruption et al.
I am sick of being ruled by wankers who rape this country to fill their coffers.
But I don’t believe in Gandhianism, non violence didn’t bring us freedom, it brought us pain, death and 60 years of a ‘surely you can fuck with me’ attitude that is something I cant stand.
So when Anna stands up against this government, I stand with him but not as a Gandhian but as someone who says lets go out there and start killing those very people who stop us from rising against them, against corruption and tyranny.

Random musing at 3 am-
If only, insistence was the solution to the unsolved mysteries that plague our very existence, life as it may seem would be an aurora waltzing in the sky....

Its strange, ever since i got the iPad earlier this year i have been confined to reading books on the same, with over 800 odd books i was lulled into believing that i didn't the real thing.... till last evening, when i chanced upon a small treasure of books an intern was throwing away before he left the country for good.
Old habits die hard, and i chanced upon the opportunity and brought 3 big boxes of books home.
Bloody brilliant...

A must see

Finally moved to the iPhone albeit after much resistance.

Thereby completing the entire mac collection.

Its going to be a crazy month ahead, have 6  off location shoots,  and shit loads of editing. From dayafter i have to start editing at least 6000 photos, looking at 50 a day.

Also thankfully my hammy seems to be better now, have been hobbling for 3 weeks. Had a decent workout session this evening, feeling pretty good.
